Texas Holdem is a seven card poker game.  A dealer button illustrates where the poker cards are to be dealt.  Live poker bets are placed by the two players to the left of the dealer and bets continue to the left.  Three community poker cards are dealt in the middle of the poker table.  Another round of betting takes place, followed by two sets of a single card being placed on the poker table and a single round of betting.  Any combination of the players’ cards and the community cards are used to make the most impressive five-card hand.

Omaha is similar to a Texas Holdem poker game.  However, four poker cards are presented to the players with two poker cards added to the three community poker cards, forming the best hand.  A low winning hand is formed when the table players hold five cards of eight or lower, with no pair, using two of the poker cards for their hand and three of the poker cards from the board.  Qualifying low hands split the pot with the high winning hand.

Seven card stud presents all players with two poker cards.  Whoever has the low card opens the round of betting.  In the following rounds, the table player with the best hand is responsible for opening betting.  Players then receive three face-up poker cards and, following the last betting round, a card dealt face down.  Winning hands share the pot.  Seven card stud Hi/Lo is only different from the aforementioned poker game in that betting is opened by the poker table player with the highest card.

Poker table players are responsible for an ante in five card stud.  Two cards are dealt to the players; the player with the lowest card is responsible for the opening bid.  Play continues to the left.  One card is dealt and a round of betting takes place.  This continues until five poker cards are dealt.  Winning hands feature the highest hand defined in poker rankings.

In draw poker, two players pay the blinds prior to receiving any poker cards.  Five cards are dealt to players at the table, face down.  Those who want to stay in the game need to place a bet and announce any cards they wish to exchange.  A second round of betting takes place and the winner possesses the highest poker rankings hand.
